Curriculum
Williamstown High School is a co-educational school that provides a comprehensive and challenging curriculum for all students in years 7 to 12. The curriculum is integrated across two campuses and is designed to engage middle year students in their learning and to prepare senior students for a successful VCE. We have in place a range of programs to support students and offer a variety of enrichment programs to enrich school life. The curriculum recognises the different learning needs of our accelerated students and of our girls-only classes in years 7 – 11.

The curriculum is structured around a core group of subjects for all students in Years 7 – 10, with increasing choice of electives in Years 9 and 10. Students are encouraged to select VCE units as electives in Year 10.

Our educational focus is to provide students with learning opportunities that are engaging, challenging, exciting, and morally grounded. We want our students to be concerned about their environment and their community and to seek solutions to local and global issues.
