Enrolment

Williamstown High School has a restricted enrolment into Year 7 due to physical limitations on both campus sites. The Regional Director has approved a ceiling limit on the number of students that can be enrolled at the Year 7 level.

There are three Year 7 programs offered at Williamstown High School:

General Entry Co-Educational Program

The criteria for successfully enrolling into this program are as follows:
  1. Access will be granted to students for whom we are the closest government secondary school.
  2. Following this, on the basis of geographical closeness to the school of the child’s home within guidelines set by the Department.
  3. Finally, the allocation of remaining places is offered to children who have a sibling at the school (in the General Co-Ed program).

Selected Entry Accelerated Learning Program (SEALP)

Places are made available for students of exceptional academic ability and entry to this program is based upon competitive testing and sustainability interviews. This is a Department sponsored state-wide program and there is no sibling or geographical entry requirements. Please refer to Enrichment - Accelerated Learning.

Girls Only Program

Places are made available to girls interested in following a Girls Only program. In accordance with other such programs across the state where enrolment restrictions apply, girls are selected on their suitability to be part of the program, and the closeness of the home to the school. Sibling access rights to the school do not apply if you already have a daughter in this program.Enrolment application forms are available directly from the principal or transition coordinator of your child’s primary school. All enquiries regarding Year 7 enrolment should be made to:
