Williamstown High School has had a long and successful history of involvement in debating both at inter school levels and inter house levels.

For over ten year students have competed in all grades through the auspices of the Debaters Association of Victoria.

Students also are involved in training for the Junior Schools Programme which prepares Year Seven students for inter school competition.

Debating fosters team work and excellent communication skills and there is a flow on into a student’s school work and future career when he or she is involved in the program.
