The environmentally sensitive location of the Middle Years campus, on Port Phillip Bay adjacent to the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary, has inspired the school to focus on environmental education with the aim of becoming a lighthouse school in this field.
Students and staff from both the Junior and Senior campus often take part in various environmental activities. Updates will be placed on this page.
Recent Activity
On the 25th March the Willi High VCAL students participated in the Future Spark Challenge, a competition to generate electricity to power Melbourne's Earth Hour concert at Federation Square. Students were required to use a trailer with bikes and solar panels and pedal as fast as they could - to generate as much power as possible. They enjoyed the challenge (some more than others) and pedalled their way onto TV, with Channel 10 filming for a youth program. Go the the Gallery to see some pictures!
