The professional development program at Williamstown High School aims to provide opportunities for all staff to seek continuous improvement in their learning and teaching. Providing staff with access to the latest knowledge, experiences and resources allows them to deliver stimulating learning and teaching situations that should generate successful outcomes for students. This is an ongoing major school focus. All staff are encouraged to seek improvement opportunities in their school specific role. Encouraging and challenging staff to improve themselves underpins the overall objective of whole school improvement in both the teaching and non-teaching areas. Our professional development program is continuing to evolve and is becoming multi-faceted to provide staff with a range of effective avenues to seek relevant professional learning opportunities.
