The Bayview Street Library supports the Year 7 -9 curriculum.
The Pasco Street Campus supports the Year 10 to 12 curriculum.
Both libraries work closely together providing the school community access to the combined resources of the two campuses.
All students at both campuses take part in library orientation, information skills instruction, library research activities and wide reading selection.
The Pasco Library is very much geared to supporting the needs of the VCE curriculum with special study areas put aside for students. There has been a recent refurbishment with new furniture purchased for quiet and silent study areas.
The Bayview Library’s main focus is on middle years and VELS, housing a class set of computers used by students for research in tandem with the extensive book collection. For students, there is also an area for sustained silent reading as well as recreational reading at recesses and lunchtimes. The Bayview Street library is also the meeting place for our popular Book Clubs at Years 7, 8 and 9. Students come together at lunchtimes to talk about their reading experiences recommending books to other club members.
